The "Puffer Plan"

Jacksons favorite toy was a yellow pufferfish. If you put a basket of toys in front of him he always picked the puffer.  We think he loved the puffer because of the bright color and spines that provided the sensory input he needed.  Every year for Christmas we would fill his stocking with a new supply of puffers (and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups) and we never left home without one.  

One day, shortly after Jackson passed away, I was looking at his basket of puffers.  I was reminded of the JOY he found every time he picked up a puffer.  He would put a big smile on his face and give his trademark giggle.  We decided to tell our friends and family that we had a plan to continue to spread the JOY that Jackson gave freely to others via his favorite toy so that we could honor his memory. 

From this idea, The "Puffer Plan" was born.  Take a puffer and a note and leave it somewhere clever.  Anywhere you may go near or far.  Or make a new friend and give them a puffer.  Tell Jacksons story and give others the JOY Jackson brought to the world.  Simple.  Spread Joy and Love. 

The puffer has been to 4 continents, 24 countries and 17 states since October of 2021.  Take a look and see if you recognize some the locations we have highlighted, as well as the interactive map of his travels.
